10 Great Gifts!

December 11, 2020 By Kirsten Joy Weiss 11 Comments

Every single item on this list I use on a regular basis, some for many years. I hope this gives you some wonderful gift ideas for loved ones (or yourself!).

In no particular order…

1.  Kershaw BlackWash Drop Point Knife – I own the tanto style, but I’ve been using the drop point too. Both are black stone wash, something you’ll see in much more expensive knives. It has a delightfully smooth open and close that you don’t often see in knives of this price range. Its well made and a good price, plus it looks cool. Wins all around

2.

3. 2021 Joy of Shooting Calendar – Filled with beautiful photography and meaningful quotes to propel you to success in 2021! Unsigned copies and Autographed copies available (only a few autographed copies left)Autographed Copies are Sold OUT. Use code TREAT15 for 15% off unsigned copies at checkout.

4. Sig Sauer kilo3000BDX – I’ve tested similar models of the years, and to keep it simple this is my top pick for many reasons. Mainly – they work on snow and sand, two very reflective surfaces and a challenge for most rangefinders. Very frustrating to have your rangefinder fail when you most need it. The bino glass rivals Swarovski, which is 3x the price. Ive test the range out to 4000 yards+.

5. High Quality Hoodies, Mugs, T-shirts – Show your love for the positive reality of shooting and freedom, sporting your Joy of Shooting.

6. Vortex SPARC AR – This is a nice all around red dot I use on my AR pistol. Its crisp, it works. Plus it comes with Vortex’s lifetime warranty.

7. Organic Aromas Diffuser Set – It clears the air, keeps me energized while relieving stress and its plain fascinating to see this simple tech work! Technically, this is a “nebulizer” which means the oil is atomized.

This gift might seem girly (and YES the lady in your life will adore this) but I know plenty of men who use and love this diffuser too! Unabashedly so.

8. Breville Duo Temp Pro Espesso Machine (Stainless Steel) – A well performing espresso maker, that isn’t $1000+. If you often drink out, this will save you money and the art of making an espresso is rather zen.

Bonus: Its almost all metal. The less plastic you have touching your hot water or coffee, the better the flavor and the better for your health! If you want to go the extra mile, I recommend these espresso cups (which can double as shot glasses shhh)  as well as their bigger cousins.

9. A Venus Fly Trap In A Cool Little Bottle – Okay, I have to confess that I do not own this one, but it’s on my wish list. I wanted to include something totally quirky, because we all have those free spirits on our list!

10. Your Time – This is last but it’s the most important gift we can give each other. Remember, your time is the only thing you can never get back, so it is also the most precious gift. Make sure to spend it wisely with the most special people in your life!

Enjoy! – Kirsten

I’m gonna go with number 10 and just give my family my times since I’m low on funds right now.

I remember your time with us with every post and reply. I know it is your most valuable asset, as time is with most of us. That is the joy I feel when making a joke flier, doing a parody video, or making up a silly story to help make you laugh and bring a little joy to the sharp shots. Thanks for this list and the time it takes to make one of these.
